Identify the pest. Treat the source. Protect the space.

EdPest checks the pest type, activity level and affected areas. The treatment plan is matched to the property instead of applying one method to every problem.

Common pest problems

What is inside the Pest Control tab.

Each enquiry is assessed before pricing. Severe infestations, multiple treatment zones and follow-up visits may change the quotation.

🪳

Cockroaches

Inspection of kitchens, cupboards, appliances, plumbing areas and harbourage points. Treatment may use targeted gel, residual application or another suitable method.

🐜

Ants

Identification of active trails, entry points and nesting areas. Treatment focuses on the colony and practical prevention.

🐀

Rats and mice

Activity assessment, access-point review and placement planning. Proofing recommendations are provided where gaps or food sources contribute.

🛏️

Bedbugs

Bedroom and furniture assessment with preparation instructions. Bedbug work is quoted separately and may require more than one visit.

🐾

Fleas and ticks

Indoor and outdoor assessment where pets or animal activity may be involved. Preparation and re-entry guidance is confirmed before treatment.

🦟

Other crawling pests

Send clear photos or a short video. EdPest confirms whether the problem falls within the available service and what assessment is needed.

The treatment process

From first message to follow-up.

1

Send evidence

Share location, property type, affected rooms, when activity occurs and clear photos or video.

2

Assessment and quotation

We identify the likely pest, size the treatment area and explain what is included.

3

Prepare the property

Customers receive pest-specific instructions for food, cupboards, pets, children and access.

4

Treatment and safety briefing

The agreed areas are treated with re-entry, cleaning and ventilation guidance.

5

Monitor and follow up

Results are monitored according to the pest, infestation level and treatment plan.

PEST-ONLY PRICING

Starting rates, then assessment.

The price tables above cover standard infestations. Final quotations consider the pest, property size, infestation level, affected areas and whether repeat visits are needed.

Combo prices remain separate. Cleaning-and-pest package prices are kept under Combo Packages so customers can clearly compare pest-only treatment with a combined service.
Before treatment

Preparation protects people and improves results.

Exact instructions depend on the pest and product used. EdPest confirms the preparation and re-entry time for every booking.

Food and surfaces

Store or cover food, utensils and preparation items as instructed. Clear targeted cupboards only where requested.

Children and pets

Keep children, pets, bowls and toys away from treatment areas. Follow the confirmed re-entry time.

Access and clutter

Provide access to walls, cupboards, plumbing areas, bedrooms or outdoor zones identified during assessment.

Important: Never assume one preparation method applies to every pest treatment. Follow the written instructions supplied for the specific booking.
Retention and follow-up

Support continues after treatment.

EdPest can check progress, reinforce prevention and schedule follow-up where the selected treatment requires it.

Progress check

Customers can report activity after the advised monitoring period.

Prevention guidance

Practical steps may include sealing access, reducing food sources and improving storage.

Scheduled follow-up

Follow-up is based on pest type and treatment plan, not promised as a universal once-off cure.
